Skool Affiliate FAQs!

Q: How much is the referral commission?

A: Skool is $99/mo. You'll earn 40% of Skool price, that is $39 per month, as long as they have their group subscription active.

Q: What's the difference between the Sign-up & The Skool Games affiliate links?

A: It's essentially the same link, but one gets them to create a group, and another gets them to join the Skool Games as well. In either case, they must create a group for you to get a referral commission.

Q: When you refer someone, does the referral show up immediately?

A: Yes! The referral shows up instantly as soon as the member you referred to starts their free trial. It will say IN TRIAL for you in your affiliate dash.

Q: What's the tracking logic for the affiliate link?

A: We use a 30-day last-touch attribution method. If somebody clicks your referral link, we’ll place a cookie in their browser, so if they sign up any time in the next 30 days, they will be attributed to you. From your group: If somebody creates a group from your group, we’ll attribute the referral to you.

Q: What are pending funds?

A: When you earn a commission, we’ll hold the payment as pending for 14 days to make sure the customer is aware their payment went through and doesn’t refund.

Q: How do payouts occur?

A: Once you have available funds, you can pay out your balance directly to your bank account using Stripe. We partner with Stripe to handle taxes and bank account connections. When you go to pay out referral earnings, you'll be taken to Stripe to set up your account and verify your banking/transfer info. Stripe makes it easy and can assist with any payment or account verification issues.

Q: Can we self-refer?

A: No! Self-referrals will not work since they are prohibited.

Q: What if the referral isn't attributed to me?

A: If the referral wasn't attributed, it's best to ask them to cancel the free trial and start another free trial from your affiliate link. Notice the "referred by" to ensure correct attribution.
