Polycom has just announced a new PathView Cloud service - on Sept 1, 2011 - so we can now offer two options SMB and Enterprise:

These tools and services let you quickly and continually assess the status & impact of videoconferencing & bandwidth on your network.

  • The SMB option includes the cloud application, software services subscription, and an appliance which will remote monitor 1-10 locations.
  • The Enterprise option includes the cloud application, software service subscription and an appliance will remote monitor 1-40 locations.

The service is available in one or three-year subscriptions and has upgrade options for additional sites. This service is vendor- and equipment-agnostic.

  • Active bandwidth monitoring and end-to-end QoS verification
  • End- to-end performance to any IP address over LANs, WANs, VPNs, or the Internet
  • Advanced diagnostics that identify dozens of network faults and configuration issues
  • Active application performance monitoring
  • The ability to pre-assess networks using live VoIP and video traffic without investing in or deploying any VoIP or video hardware
  • The ability to stress-test networks over days or weeks to identify issues caused by periodic or infrequent activities
  • The ability to generate traffic matching the exact port, protocol and behavior of major VoIP and Video codecs

The micro-appliance and cloud based service allows you to measure the total capacity, utilization, and ability of any network to deliver performance critical applications such as voice, video, virtualization, IP storage, and cloud based services. You get accurate performance visibility across any Local Area Network, private Wide Area Network, or the public Internet, without capturing or impacting existing traffic.

Here's the current pricing for the new services -  including the PathView Cloud™ application, and AppView Voice and Video software from AppNeta (TM) . The included appliance is a non-invasive device which connects to the customer’s network, a plug-in device for SMBs, and a rack-mountable blade for Enterprises.
